Shoreline Sewer Repair
Bob Oates Plumbing, Sewer & Rooter LLC is a registered side sewer contractor. Our team serves the greater Seattle area, which includes Shoreline, Washington. We are easy to reach by phone and we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of emergencies.
Our business is run by a family, which makes our customer service quality personal and professional. One of our most in-demand services is sewer repair. It is a crucial service, wherein sewer pipes are rehabilitated and maintained through the new trenchless technology.
In our many years of service, we have observed that most of our customers do not really think about checking out their sewers until they experience visible problems like drain clogs, joint leaks, or even bad odor. It is our recommendation to always keep the sewers in check as they are an integral part of the house or property, whether it is residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal.
The traditional method of repairing sewers was the trend for decades. Some plumbers still use this outdated method. Traditional processes, though, often cause inconveniences like heavy equipment lining the road, causing traffic delays. The process can also cause damage to property with so much digging. There’s also the issue of cost: don’t be fooled by a low estimate. If you really think about it, traditional repair often ends up costing customers even more because of restorative works afterward that will require property owners to hire another team of contractors to fix the damaged landscape.
Our team at Bob Oates Plumbing, Sewer & Rooter LLC is composed of highly trained, experienced, and licensed technicians. These characteristics make our work easier, more convenient, and higher quality because each of our technicians understands the need of every property and knows which method works best in any given situation.
We use different methods of repairing the sewer lines, depending on the extent of repair needed. The most common method is known as the pipe bursting method, wherein a cable with a tip shaped like an arrow is inserted into the sewer line to break the old pipes and replace them with a new pipe. This method is used only when the pipes cannot be patched up due to extensive damage.
If a pipe can still be saved and be restored as new, we use the CIPP or Cured-In-Place-Pipe method. A tube that contains a resin substance is inserted into the pipe and blown to take the shape of the pipe and then left for a few hours to cure or dry. Once the resin substance is dried, the pipe is as good as new. Any hole or leak will be patched up and covered with the new pipe. This is also sometimes known as a pipe-within-a-pipe method.
Property owners who plan to sell their homes soon should take this into consideration. Trenchless sewer repair is the fastest and most convenient method of getting the work done in time for the property’s buyer to approve. By conducting a sewer repair before selling, the property’s sewer system will be good as new, giving a boost to the price of the sale.
